Join us for a unique and memorable vacation filled with sand and saints. The perfect amount of sunny & spiritual, serene & sacred, stunning & Spirit-filled! Learn about Paradise in Paradise on our one-of-a-kind, never-to-be-forgotten Aloha Oahu tour!  

7 hotel nights: 3 in Waikikii and 4 nights on the North Shore in Laie; both hotels are just steps away from the beach! Visit popular local attractions including the Polynesian Cultural Center, BYU-Hawaii, Laie Temple, Honolulu Tabernacle, Pearl Harbor, and so much more. 

We’ll explore the island of Oahu with its unique features, sites, and stories and of course include time for sunset walks on the beach, swimming in the ocean (and/or the hotel pool), and strolling the boardwalk of Waikiki.  

Places Visited

Day 1

Depart for Oahu & arrive at Honolulu Airport then transfer to our hotel in Waikiki where we will stay 3 nights to explore this part of the enchanting island of Oahu.

DAY 2 

Poignant visit to Pearl Harbor (learn about inspiring Latter-day Saint connections to this site!), fun time at the Aloha Stadium Swap Meet (a favorite, even for the locals) where you will definitely find some “souvenir treasures” – clothing, jewelry, wood carvings, ukuleles, or even a tasty Hawaiian snack! Afternoon & evening free time to enjoy Honolulu. 


DAY 3

Attend an inspiring sacrament meeting at a local ward in the stunning LDS Honolulu Tabernacle. Onward to Waimea Valley & Waterfalls to enjoy a leisurely walk through the stunning botanical gardens and an exciting--but optional--swim in the pool at the base of the falls, as you wish. View the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific (aka Punchbowl cemetery; many Latter-day Saint soldiers buried here) and a Honolulu city tour.

DAY 4

Enjoy a Circle Island Tour of Oahu visiting Honolulu’s beautiful Halona Blow Hole and Pali Lookout, plus beautiful Byodo-In Temple in Kaneohe, a picture-perfect Buddhist Temple in peaceful Japanese gardens. Stop by the Dole Pineapple Plantation to see pineapples growing, maybe partake in some fun shopping, and perhaps you'll decide to snack on a famous Dole Whip! In the evening we'll enjoy Laie Temple Visitor's Center and grounds tour.

DAY 5

Enjoy a morning Laie Church history tour with a fascinating local guide. For the afternoon & evening we'll take a guided tour of the Church-owned Polynesian Cultural Center (including a site guide) with the famous luau dinner and the thrilling HĀ: Breath of Life” show

DAY 6

Spend the day at Kualoa Ranch to explore the sets of some of the most famous Hollywood movies filmed in Hawaii and have an islander's afternoon at Secret Island beach - the perfect setting for perfect photos plus swimming, paddleboarding, napping, relaxing...

Day 7 

Morning free time (ziplining or horseback riding optional--as you wish) then take the afternoon to explore more of the Polynesian Cultural Center at your leisure to ensure you see everything possible at this delightful collection of Polynesian village life (choose from a plethora of island-y activities & entertainment!).

Day 8

Optional morning worship time at the Laie Temple. Raeturn to Honolulu with a stop at Tropical Farms (a favorite North Shore macadamia nut farm & country store). Catch some last Honolulu shore exploring/shopping/dining before heading to Honolulu Airport for evening/overnight flight home. Arrive home the next morning filled with the ALOHA SPIRIT, an appreciation for the Hawaiian Saints, and a relaxed smile on your face.
