Join us for a unique and memorable vacation filled with sand and saints. The perfect time of sunny & spiritual, serene & sacred, stunning & Spirit-filled!  Learn about Paradise in Paradise on our one-of-a-kind, never-to-be-forgotten Aloha Oahu tour!  Stay 8 nights: 3 in Waikikii, 4 on the North Shore, both are just steps away from the beach.  Visit popular local attractions including the Polynesian Cultural Center, BYU-Hawaii, Laie Temple, Honolulu Tabernacle, Pearl Harbor, and so much more.  We’ll explore the island of Oahu with its unique features, sites, and stories and of course include time for sunset walks on the beach, swimming in the ocean (and/or the hotel pool), and strolling the boardwalk of Waikiki.

 

Places Visited

Day 1

Depart for Oahu & arrive at Honolulu Airport then transfer to our hotel in Waikiki where we will stay 3 nights.

Day 2

A poignant visit to Pearl Harbor (learn about inspiring Latter-day Saint connections there!), time at the Aloha Stadium Swap Meet (a favorite, even for the locals) where you will definitely find some “souvenir treasures” – food, clothing, jewelry, wood carvings, ukuleles etc.

Day 3

Attend sacrament meeting at a local ward in the stunning LDS Tabernacle.  Then view the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific (aka Punchbowl cemetery; many Latter-day soldiers buried here).

Day 4

Enjoy a Circle Island Tour of Oahu visiting Honolulu’s beautiful Halona Blow Hole and Pali Lookout, a stop by the Dole Pineapple Plantation, Tropical Farms (a favorite North Shore macadamia nut farm & country store), Waimea Valley & Waterfalls (enjoy a leisurely walk through the stunning botanical gardens and a fun–but optional–swim in the pool at the base of the falls), and more!  Accommodations in Laie hotel (4 nights here).

Day 5

A morning Laie Church history tour with fascinating local guide.  Then explore Church-owned Polynesian Cultural Center (including their famous luau dinner and HĀ: Breath of Life” show)

Day 6

Spend a day at Kualoa Ranch to explore the sets of some of the most famous Hollywood movies filmed in Hawaii and spend a relaxing afternoon at Secret Island beach

Day 7 

OPTIONAL excursions available for an exciting Zipline experience or horseback riding (added/optional expense, if you wish to participate).  More time at the Polynesian Cultural Center to ensure enough time to fully explore everything.

Day 8

Optional morning worship time at the Laie Temple.  Afterwards, Macadamia Nut farm, beautiful Byodo-In Temple in Kaneohe (Buddhist Temple) & its peaceful surroundings. Transfer to Honolulu Airport for evening flight home.
